Upcoming events

The upcoming events component displays events that are in the future, in date order (soonest first). Within the component, you can select how many events to show and optionally filter by event tags (i.e. you might want to have an "Upcoming online events" component that only shows events that have the "Online" tag. Let's take a look at an upcoming events component, as with all components, the styles and colours are customizable.

Within the "Layout" tab of the component, you will find a "Layout" dropdown menu, with options of "Fixed" or "Carousel" - the default is fixed (as seen above), let's create another upcoming events component, but this time we'll set the "Layout" dropdown to "Carousel" (this option is useful if you have a larger number of events you wish to display without taking up too much screen space).
